The Schools fully recognise the contribution they can make to protect children and support pupils in school. The aim of the policy is to safeguard and promote our pupil's welfare, safety and health by fostering an honest, open, caring and supportive climate. The pupil's welfare is of paramount importance.

If you are a pupil in need of help you can;

Talk to an adult you trust at home

Speak to any adult at school

Use the worry boxes in school, it helps with a big worry if you add your name

As school will be closed over the Christmas period, in case of an emergency, please contact Children's Services or the police on the numbers listed below.

If you have a safeguarding concern about a child at our school, please use the email address below to contact the school. A member of the safeguarding team will be on duty over the holiday and will respond.

EARLY HELP

There may be times when your child, you and your family require some advice and support.  Early Help is a system to ensure that you get the right help and support needed.  This is provided through the Pingle Academy early help offer. We have a strong relationship with their team of family resource workers and are able to make referrals to them with your permission.  The team can advise you of other agencies that can offer support for you and your family and also visit your child / children at home and in school to complete direct work.  Please see the information in the documents below.
